51ԹAlumni in NYC Celebrate the Year of the Snake
While we celebrated the Year of the Snake with family and friends over the school holiday, 51Թ alumni in New York refused to miss out on the New Year festivities. And what better way to celebrate than to gather with 51Թclassmates over dim sum in Chinatown?
"The 51Թcommunity is truly special. I can’t completely put into words the joyful feeling of reuniting with the awesome, kind humans I grew up with,” event co-organizer Andrew Yeung ‘13 shared. More than 30 alums, graduates ranging from 2012 to 2024, gathered and any unfamiliar faces quickly became new friends as they bonded over happy 51Թmemories and a shared love for Shanghai.
“It was truly amazing to reunite with 51Թalums from both campuses for a holiday that holds special meaning in our hearts. The 51Թcommunity in New York is thriving, chasing dreams, and making waves—we can’t wait to gather again!” Said event co-organizer SImon Zhou ‘13.
This gathering wasn’t just a celebration of the New Year, but also a tribute to the enduring bonds our Eagles forged during their time at 51Թ- and the common values and traditions that unite 51ԹEagles of all ages.
