Meet the Teacher: Mae Punzalan

As we make our way through Women’s History Month, we're rolling out the red carpet for a fresh series: Meet the Teacher. Think of it as your backstage pass to getting up close and personal with your favorite teachers. First up? It’s Ms. Mae Punzalan, Pudong High School’s IB/AP Computer Science teacher and Eagle since 2007.
Mae is more than just a teacher. She's a trailblazer, inspiring students, especially females, to dive headfirst into technology-driven fields. It's no coincidence that our Pudong campus won the College Board AP® Computer Science Female Diversity Award for the 2022-23 school year, which recognizes schools that are expanding young women's access to AP computer science coursework.
